Description
Part of my ‘Discarded Regards’ series
Cyanotype with found objects
Plastic bread tags, empty contact lens cases, and fragments of X-ray film… each a small marker of daily life, each once serving the body in quiet, utilitarian ways. Collected over years, these objects form an archive of routines, needs, and passing moments. In cyanotype, they shed their original purpose and slip between the microscopic and the cosmic; bread tags become shifting constellations, lens cases a bloom of cells, X-rays a shadowed landscape of the body’s interior. Discarded Regards is a record of what we leave behind, and a reminder that time is measured not only in clocks and calendars, but in the humble debris of living.
