What a whirlwind this past month has been!
[vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1602680595991{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]I have been hard at work preparing for my first group exhibition with THE PRINTING GIRLS (TPG) (https://www.theprintinggirls.co.za) opened earlier this month at THE ART ROOM PARKHURST with great success.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1602681552898{margin-bottom: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 15px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”6962″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]For those like myself who were unable to attend, fear not – if you are in Johannesburg pop in and see the works in person, the exhibit will run for the whole month of October! You can also purchase our prints and small works directly from the gallery (contact details below). We’ve created two catalogues to view in your leisure.
The TPGs are a collective of South African female printmakers, and this year we have more than doubled our membership base. #TPG/2020 shows fresh work from over 30 artists, and includes many techniques from traditional etching, screenprint, and relief printing through to contemporary mixed media and digital print. Five of my pieces are included in this exhibition – scroll to the end to have a peek. I am so proud to be part of this formidable group!
To view the catalogue of small works all artists’ submitted to the exhibition click here.
These pieces are all priced under R1000 making it easy for everyone to afford an original artwork.
The full exhibition catalogue can be viewed here.
International buyers can buy with ease – all purchases will be sent using FedEx who provide a competitive price for local artists.

The act of hyper critically looking at oneself and one’s actions has been emotionally exhausting, but ultimately rewarding. My little family, our home and garden became the central focus during the early days of lockdown. In an attempt to manage the feeling of unease and uncertainty, we delved into gardening, home improvements and trying to make the most of the time we spent together. This piece aims to reflect the structure of routine and the solace found in spending time in the natural world and with my family.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1602682042069{padding-right: 20% !important;padding-left: 20% !important;}”][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1602681809726{padding-right: 20% !important;padding-left: 20% !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]2. ‘Connectoxcity’
